At Genesis Preparatory Academy, we are Giving Greyhounds, and we hope you will be too!  Our tradition is to instill the love of giving to our students.   Throughout the year, we focus on Acts of Kindness, and we want to share a few of our good works that we do consistently!

• Students deliver coffee, donuts, and notes of gratitude to our local Sheriff’s Office and Fire Stations

• We have a week-long effort to stock the cupboards for families in need in our community during Thanksgiving and Christmas - if you want to bring non-perishable items, stop by the school to drop them off or donate!

• Each December, we conduct Operation Genesis Gives.  We adopt three families in the community and purchase Christmas gifts for the entire family.

• Students adopt a highway and recycle and pick-up trash to keep our community clean.

• In Literature classes, we are writing notes of gratitude to parents, teachers, coaches, or mentors who have made an impact in our lives.

• We donate school supplies every August and January to area nonprofits and families.

• We sent care packages to the island of St.Vincent when the volcano erupted.

We hope we can count on you – because we are trying to build a new school we are asking you to share this information with your family, employer, church, or donors with a heart for children and education.
