If you are searching for an awesome Summer Camp for children in the Metro Atlanta, GA area, then you have come to the right place! Our summer camp is perfect for active children who love to have fun participating in exciting sport and activities! GENESIS Learning is a day camp located in Fayetteville, Georgia. Our goal is to sustain grade-level learning all while having Summer FUN! We are dedicated to the physical and emotional safety of all campers that come through our doors.

Our objective is to maximize students’ learning pace through individual attention in small classes that accommodate both their learning style and learning pace. Intellectual and creative enrichment, often overlooked during the long summer months, are employed to stimulate and challenge the intellect. Our proven strategies and professional support helps students reach their full potential. The individualized program is comprehensive and structured, and enriches students’ enthusiasm for learning.
Academic Camp
Our experience has been that students who continue their studies during the summer months experience greater academic gains. Students that participate in GENESIS Learning Services Summer Academic Enrichment Program have maintained or improved their achievement levels and have returned to the classroom better prepared in the Fall.
Reading: Reading instruction is individualized utilizing a variety of proven strategies. Accomplished in small group settings, students continue to progress throughout the summer, improving their reading skills both in sight-reading and comprehension by the conclusion of our six-week program.
Mathematics: Individualized learning strategies are employed to increase each student’s motivation and confidence. Students are initially assessed to determine their current mastery level and are then provided with mathematical lessons ranging from application to increasingly advanced skills within a small group setting. The goal is to motivate each student in an encouraging and nurturing environment, while at the same time challenging the student to succeed.
Language Skills: Language skills instruction encompasses composition, spelling, grammar, and research skills while reinforcing penmanship. The approach is developmental and is accomplished in small group settings. The program fosters a student’s natural development of language and reinforces the tools of English and composition. A curricular framework encompassing each student’s writing style is utilized to determine the areas that require remediation and support.

Arts and Crafts: One of our strongest beliefs is that students learn through many avenues. The ability to express oneself through art is one of the most valuable learning experiences. Learning to observe carefully, to experience the joy of creating, and to develop senses not stressed in other academic endeavors helps to broaden the whole student.
Performing Arts: Our program is uniquely designed to develop skills through exciting activities that build self-expression and confidence. Theater, music, and dance activities encourage students to communicate and expand their emotional, social, physical, and cognitive potential through the performing arts.
Sports and Recreation: Much of the fun of summer is being outdoors and partaking in activities among peers. Our recreation and sports program is designed to give students the experience of individual and team sports while teaching valuable interpersonal and life skills. Learning how to get along with others, sharing, and having positive sportsmanship are all emphasized.
Summer Camp Program
The summer camp experience is designed to enhance the academic program by providing outstanding instruction in directed activities that are designed to stimulate the brain while heightening learning in an enjoyable and fun atmosphere. Our Summer Camp Program provides students with many of the wholesome experiences that the summer vacation period affords such as arts and crafts, performing arts, sports, water activities, and interpersonal skills development, and weekly field trips, all offered in a recreational format.
